Whether you are worried about falling, or wish to let someone know if you’re taken ill or simply want the reassurance that you can summon help when things don’t quite go right, we can install an emergency response alarm unit with pendant that will give you 24 hour access 365 days a year to our friendly trained staff.
If you need advice or reassurance, a visit from a family member or medical attention, we can provide the appropriate assistance quickly and efficiently.
All for a weekly cost from £4.20 (plus VAT) with no installation charges or upfront costs. Many of our customers do not have to pay the VAT for health reasons.
How does the alarm work?
The alarm unit requires a working telephone line connection using any provider, for example, BT, Sky, Post Office, Talk Talk etc. The alarm also requires an electrical socket to be plugged into, which should remain switched on. Should there be a power cut or if the unit was accidentally switched off, the unit has its own backup battery which has a 40 hour stand by operation.
The radio trigger pendant has a 3V Lithium battery (not changeable) with up to a 5 year life span. The trigger will automatically send a notification call via the home unit to the monitoring centre when the battery is low so that the Homelink staff can arrange for it to be changed.
The radio pendant is also water resistant which means you can wear it in the bath or shower or if on your wrist, when washing up etc. It also has a range of up to 50m which covers most home and garden areas.
