Safer Communities

We are committed to creating communities where people want to live. We work with our customers to enable strong, vibrant communities to live within safe and well-maintained neighbourhoods.

We work with a wide range of partners who have supported us through funding and/or partnership working within projects for example; Northern Devon Healthcare NHS, Police and Crime Commissioner, local schools, Safer North Devon, University of St Mark and St John (Plymouth), South West Community Foundation and not least customers who live within our communities.

Projects include community food growing schemes, sewing groups, supporting community groups, adult and young people learning opportunities, internet cafés, healthy eating and cooking and Saturday parent and children clubs.
